Domo is pretty small with about a dozen bar stools, half facing the sushi bar and the others facing the street. There are also a few two seat tables outside for when the weather is nice. The quality of the fish served here is amazing. Wide assortment of nigiri and sashimi. They make one of the best seaweed salads I have ever had. Specials of the day are inventive... yesterday we had spicy tuna tempura balls coated in panko and then fried. The fried baby octopus was also top notch. I imagine evenings there is always a wait but finding a spot at lunch hasn\t been an issue the two times I have visited. Definitely a "must do" for our next visit to San Fran.

This is a neighborhood sushi place with really fresh, flavorful and ample sized sushi. They don\t take reservations, but we were able to get a table outside on a Saturday evening in 5 minutes. Service was a bit slow, maybe because we were outside (they were quite busy, but I gather they are always packed). The menu doesn\t have all that much that looked interesting beyond the sushi, but the sushi was excellent and really all we needed. The prices were quite reasonable for SF Japanese restaurants (much less than fancier places with less impressive sushi). I will definitely return when in SF.
