Ok - we are originally from Belgium. So of course we had to try the Little Bear. We went with a good dose of skepticism to the sketchy (but up and coming) LA industrial neighborhood. What an awesome surprise. Although there is no direct link to Belgium (ownership or otherwise..) the pub felt like "home" to us. The interior is beautifully designed. The service was among the best we have ever had in the US - very attentive - fun - we felt very welcome and "at home". What was going to be a quick stop for a beer turned into a "little feast". The poutine is to die for - French/Belgian fries with meat gravy, cheese, and either pork, or ribs. The BEST. We\d recommend to make it an entree instead of only a starter because we just couldn\t get enough of it. The beer selection was perfect - of course not always cheap - but any beer you can think of was on the menu. We kept going and tried the Belgian/Brussels waffle - with sugar, whipped cream and either banana, pine apple - or whatever the flavor of the day might be. Awesome - never had any better ones in Belgium. The Irish coffees were near perfection (could maybe also have used a little bit of whipped cream on top ;-) When our server brought an extra shot of Jameson and Baileys he just secured that we will be return visitors for sure. Next time we\ll have to try the Mussels (other than that there weren\t many other traditional Belgian dishes - more US comfort food). Highly recommend.

Been here twice and each visit I had their Ruben Sandwich and Truffle Fries. Parking is a pain tho, have to pay unless your lucky enough to find a street parking available you will have to pay $6 for it.
