We decided to go for lunch at this Ethiopian Restaurant during our visit to Las Vegas. It is off the strip, so you need a rental car or cab. We were preparing to order two items from the menu when the waitress told us that just the meat platter will be sufficient for two of us. What a deal for the money! And great taste. If you haven\t had Ethiopian food before, then give it a try. If you like spicy food, you will like them. Also, after the meal, they were having a coffee ceremony at another table and they offered us a cup of coffee. I did not see it in the bill and I was told that it was on the house! The people there served us with a smile and we loved it.

So, just a little caveat. If you haven\t dined on Ethiopian food before…this IS THE PLACE TO COME TO! Hands down the best Injera bread I\ve had, and the food was tasty and delicious (if not a little less hot than I would have preferred). It\s located in a sketchy area of Vegas, but certainly safe enough for both of our Rolex wearing, preppy dressed selves to go to with confidence. It\s a bit hard to find, since the sign either fell off or is in need of repainting, but once you get inside (and ignore the mismatched tables and chairs) you will be treated to some excellent Ethiopian cuisine.
