When I first walked into Momiji, I thought the bar and handful of tables were it. I was pleasantly surprised when the host led me down the hall and into another part of the restaurant that was spacious and looked out to a Japanese garden. There is another room on the other side of the garden so this restaurant is quite big.

We went to Momiji, for the first time, after a movie and was in for a real treat. The menu is long and a bit forboding, but we decided to have the $40 sashimi plate (chef\s selection). OMG, so good. The fresh scallops, mackerel, salmon, and king crab (a huge portion) was great, and enough for 2. We also ordered the seafood udon noodles. Equally delicious. I think it\s the best fresh fish I\ve ever had. So yummy even without the soy, ginger and wasabi added on.
