I was at Swedish for some appointments and had to get lunch. This is half a block away and terrific! It has two tables (I think) and counter seating insidealong with two tables outside, where I sat. The two ladies behind the cases were very open and responsive; an older woman appeared to mostly speak Russian, the younger woamn spoke English and Russian. I had the beef & cheddar piroshky and a chocolate chip & dough dessert roll and a water. The piroshky was totally terrific and perfect for my day. I had the dessert roll later and it was quite a treat. Whenever I go back to Seattle, Swedish or not, I\m going to Piroshki on Madison again.
