A nice neighborhood watering hole with good beer and decent food. It\s a pub, so don\t expect elegant cuisine. Also, it can be a bit noisy, as the walls are mostly windows and the ceiling is a hard surface. You\ll have to speak up to be heard by your tablemates. As long as you\re OK with a pub atmosphere and pretty good bar food, this is a great place for casual dining.

OK, so this is my neighborhood bar/restaurant and I\ve come here a LOT. About time I reviewed good old Fiddles. So, come here for the very cozy, rustic, genuine feel, and for the good beer selection. The staff is kind of a hoot, because you just have collective service by the 2-4 waitresses who do loops aropund the place. It\s OK, because there is always one coming by, unless they are hanging out at the bar chatting, which does happen regularly. But they are lovable and friendly all the time and it\s OK. Just don\t be in a huge hurry here. The menu is fairly interesting for bar food, and they make some pretty good pizzas. But the food is not cheap nor is the wine, at least in relative to the roadhouse atmosphere that this place is about. It\s about $13 for the smaller pizza that MAYBE can be shared, but probably not between two hungry people. Good hot sandwiches and pretty big salads. Sometimes the cook has a bad day and the pizza is like Dominoes, but I\d say that\s only 10% of the time. I like that the place has a lot of regular faces, and the wait staff has been there a long time, and it just seems like a place where everybody knows your name. But don\t drive all the way across town to experience it.......
