The saturday brunch at the Greehouse was exactly what we expected. The atmosphere was fantastic. The Jefferson is a beautiful boutique hotel and the restaurant reflected it. Love the touch of bringing a stool for my wife\ bag, so that it doesn\t sit on the floor was quite fascinating. The food was fanstasic. Salmon tartare was the best we\ve ever had. And the coffee... after all the Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts coffee, it was an experience to have such a finely roasted smooth coffee. The Eggs benedict was perfect for my wife and my steak and eggs was pretty good. I wouldn\t give my entree a 5 star but about 3.5. The brunch isn\t cheap by any means, but for a special occasion, it was perfect for our special visit.

The homemade muffins are a must try- we had one of each flavor : Blueberry, Cranberry/orange and Cappuccino. Not too large and warm & fresh from the over, melted in your mouth - no too heavy at all. The bloody mary was good and spicy and service was good but not overly doting. The Salmon tartar was delicious as was the Croque Madame and the benedicts (traditional and lobster). Only the minestrone left us short. Atmosphere was lovely and the quiet tone was perfect for an intimate brunch.
