Met friends for a Sunday brunch (make a reservation unless alone). Our reservation was for 11:30. If you didn\t have a reservation you would have had to wait unless you wanted to sit at the bar. All around great service and the menu is fantastic. They have something to satisfy everyone. $10 mimosas with $1 refills. Want to go back and check out the basement bar for happy hour.

Cafe Saint Ex was an old establishment on 14th street area before all these fancy bars and restaurant. Very easy to get there by metro bus or subway U street. Great place to hang out for drinks after work or weekends. Decoration and the look still maintain the old Saint Ex that I used to go for drinks. Food is reasonable, bartenders are friendly and quick. The bar on the first floor can look out on the street. The bar down stairs is another old funky dive bar. Saint Ex still maintain the atmosphere of local neighborhood bar. Come and enjoy yourself here.

Wound up here on a Saturday night with boyfriend and friends. It was easy to get in and we went to the basement/downstairs level where the DJ had a 90s playlist going (as someone in my 30s, I was into this). Lots of young people there as well as some 30ish types (ourselves included). We had a boom boom dance party and the bar had a menu of beer to pick from. No COrona, but they had some DC Brau beer which I drank and honestly wasn\t that great. There were other choices though that my friends liked. Good dive bar to tend to. Wouldn\t be my first choice though.
