Stopped in here after a friend recommended it! Visit DC frequently with work and as much as I love traditional american food sometimes finding good quality healthy food can be difficult! The Cava Mezze Grill is amazing- great quality food, really reasonable prices and I love all the different homemade lemonades and drinks they have! The interior is basic and it is a casual lunch atmosphere but you can still sit outside and enjoy! They have metal cutlery too which I love as hate using plastic cutlery! I visit every time I am in DC and even get an extra to take on the plane with me- Love it!

This place has an interesting concept of mixing salads or rice with pieces of meat, sauce and topping it with salads. You can eat all of this in a box and enjoy Mediterranean food in a box -- eat there or takeaway. Don\t forget to try their grilled meats & falafel . Delicious!
