This coffie shop is a very warm and peaceful place. It has got a welcoming terrace outside, private enough to take a short break not too far from the noise of the taksim street. The service is nice and the food is everything homemade by the lovely owner of the place. The design, as well, I found it very cute, tasteful and colourful. I deeply raccomand the turkish omelette and the carrot, apple ,walnut, honey cake (which is heaven if you feel hungry).

I was following this cafe via instagram. We were in Istanbul for winter holiday and I realy wanted to see this cafe. After Eminonu & grand bazaar visit we went there by walk over Galata bridge that connect the Eminonu Egypt Bazaar to the Karakoy. It takes around 20 minutes to find the Cha\ya Galata. We used google map. It is around Galata Tower. When we reached there nice and mouth watering carrot cake smell welcomed us. Staff were so friendly. Cafe is not too big but warm place. They have lots of tea variations. We drunk vanilla tea and ate carrot cake which was just cooked. Me & my daughter have shared one tea pot. It was so lovely place to have rest and have tea in Galata. We paid for 1 tea pot & two carrot cakes 35.-Turkish lira

We had Chay (we tried a strange type of tea, which didn\t mmet the expectations to be exotic in taste) and the place was nice, if you wanna go with your laptop and work for long hours.
