I was working near to the Kanyon Shopping Mall recently and found the House Cafe on the bottom floor. It was busy but I was shown a table immediately. My Turkish is less than brilliant :) but the waiter kindly gave me a menu in English to help with my choices. Whilst I waited for lunch I was given artisan bread and olive oil - delicious. My food soon arrived which was a local delicacy, cheesy scrambled egg with toast. I chose a glass of fresh lemonade to quench my thirst - it was a fairly warm day so I wanted a cold drink and trust me, it was delicious! Prices are VERY reasonable - if you want a meal/drinks that isn\t a typical soulless McDonalds/Costa/Starbucks then pay the House Cafe a visit next time you are in the Kanyon. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in Istanbul.

The overall atmosphere was nice but the weather was little windy. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. The salads and main dish esp the grilled chicken was great.
