Went there twice in a week since I bored already after a full week of turkish cuisine. The nasi goreng taste was authentic since the cook is come from the same city with my hometown. Gado2 and sate ayam taste also very authentic. Lontong sayur was good. Nasi campur nusantara rendang was delicious. Unfortunately, soto ayam was a disappointment. Overall, still the best Indonesian Food in Istanbul.

Our the third and last station became Indonesian Kitchen, Warung Nusantara on the day we decided to discover the world kitchen. Here is the only restaurant in Istanbul (maybe in Turkey). It was located near the Merkezefendi tram station, Zeytinburnu. There were not any customer visit the venue until we left here at midday. As I know there were no significant living Indonesian population in that area. (Actually there are no significant population in all Istanbul). I asked them “why did you open the venue in this location” they replied me “Because here is very close to our house”. This answer astonished me. Indonesian kitchen shows similarity with Thai, Indian and Malaysian kitchen. Menu is mainly composed of rice, noodle and burek. I had learned that the most important income sources of the country were rice and Bali massage during my Bali travel. As for what we ate: 1-Sate Ayam: The classic chicken shish. It was serving with peanut sauce topping it. This sauce added extra taste to the kitchen. It could be tried on other foods. The block shaped rice situated on the plate called as rice cake. They were eating these unsalty and oil-free blocks instead of bread. 2-Sea bass on banana leaf bed: Normally this choice is not found on the menu. You should order this before going by calling the venue. Because its preparation takes about 45 minutes. It was an interesting choice for us whom used to bass or sardine on grape leaf bed. They imported the banana leaves from Thailand. They also tried our banana leaves but they left a bitter taste in the fish. Banana leaf gave a flavour to the fish but it might be better with a open sea fish. The fish was also serving with rice cake. 3- Samosa and Risol Sayur: These were burek kinds serving as apperative. Both of them were with vegetables. One of them was with curry other one was not. Am I visit here again? I can revisit to try the foods which I could not taste in the menu. Because of I had lunch three times in the same day the capacit
