A lovely café cum restaurant with a very interesting menu. Friendly service and a lovely place if you like people watching as shoppers stroll by. The menu has a few interesting dishes such as their chicken strips and the apple wood smoked ribs are to die for! The also serve alcohol.

While neighbouring restaurants dismissed me with a rough and abrupt "... Closed... come back at 7am", not so @ Tribeca Brooklyn! Bravo! I was led to a seat and served piping hot freshly made filter coffee, with "Our kitchens only open at 7am, but I\ll bring you filter coffee as a starter (!) while I take your order..." You guys won me over after rejections from other places near you! Then a healthy portion of perfectly scrambled eggs on a platter decorated with toast and tomato arrived at 7.15am as I finished my coffee and promptly ordered another. Forgot to ask the brand... Great stuff! The smiling staff, the commendable welcome, and the perfect breakfast for someone in a rush at that hour, makes it a perfect pre-7am post for me! I must try the other "Tribeca\s" in Pretoria.... G
