This place is GREAT--and very affordable. I spent a week in Potsdam for meetings at the Hasso Plattner Institute, and Plantagenklause was one of the few places within walking distance of where I was staying. Fortunately, I discovered it on my first night in town. I loved the soups, but the real reason for the five stars is the Spragel (white asparagus), which is in season now (mid-May). It\s extremely fresh and tender, and they prepare it incredibly well. The waitresses and bartender were all friendly and their English was far better than my German. They only accept cash and a local, German credit card. They close pretty early (2130), which is actually typical in this sleepy suburb of Berlin.

Nice local food, quick service, nice local german atmosfere. Many typical german dishes, soups, salads, roasted meats. I recomend.
