Ate there 2 nights during our stay in Nafplio. Friendly helpfull staff and the food was very good ! The lamb was the best we ever had . Honest Greek food at a very fair price ! I highly recommend!

To Omorfo Tavernacki in Naflio is a small locally owned and managed charming "tavern". The owner was on top of the service and kitchen and created a casual friendly atmosphere The jug red wine by the glass is excellent compared to not so great tasting red wine by the glass in most of the 12 Greek restaurants I frequented - the local grape was Agiorgithllec. Delicious Zuccini balls, pork, and (free) pear slices for desert. This place is a winner.

We ate here our first night in Nafplio at the recommendation of a friend who works down in the platea. It may have been what we ordered (mostly skewers of various types - nothing too unique), but we weren\t that impressed. In my view, a good Greek restaurant should take humble ingredients and elevate them. The food was on the flavorless and slightly over cooked side. Not that there was anything horribly wrong with the food, just nothing special. The prices were reasonable.
