One of the best places in Tokyo to visit if you love tea. Very good service, a nice selection of different teas. You can have either matcha or sencha, and also get some tea souvenirs on the ground floor.

I was only in Tokyo for 36 hours and I had the pleasure of visiting the Uogashi Meicha Tea Salon as per a recommendation from the hotel concierge. What an Amazing experience. I spent 2 hours learning about the different Teas, where and how they are grown and how to properly brew. The staff we very professional and friendly and provided me with many samples to try. I purchased traditional Tea pots, cups, water cooler and a lot of different Teas that I am now enjoying back in Canada. I will go back to Tokyo and one of the first places I will visit is : Uogashi Meicha Tea Salon.
