While visiting our kids in Okinawa, I had read survey results for the Pacific Rim favorites for military families. Denny\s was listed as a family favorite in Tokyo and it just so happened to be one located across the street from our hotel. Since our flight brought us into Tokyo around 5pm, we decided to stay closer to our hotel our first night and we were not disappointed. We had great service and the food was very good. We returned for dinner a few nights later and were very tired after a very long day of touring and our waitress remembered us. We also met an american that had grown up in Detroit and had been living in Tokyo for about 8 years and we really enjoyed speaking with him about the culture. Many will be happy to learn that they can order a glass of wine or a beer with their dinner.

I wanted to write a short review just to warn people, if you are expecting Denny\s USA quality, you will be disappointed. The quality is not even close, and the menu is far from a Denny\s menu. The breakfast we ordered, consisted of watered down scrambled eggs that were from batter, the bacon was greasy, and the breakfast was mini-me compared to the USA. Don\t waste your time at any Denny\s in Japan, I live here and have tried two different ones.
