I came here 4 years ago when the restaurant was brand new and I hoped to come back this time in japan and it is still here and still making great lamp curry and nan! :D I will come back again in another 4 years ;)

This restaurant is worth a side trip if you&#39;re in the area and feeling peckish. We fell upon it at about 6.30 mid-week and as it was empty nervous about going in, but we need not have worried. The staff speak a little English, likewise the menu had English summaries. Side dishes were in the order of ¥400-600 and mains ¥1000-1200. There was a range of Indian and Nepalese dishes, we had Tandoori chicken, and Lamb segwali, with rice and Kubali nan. All were excellent, with a fresh homemade taste, and lovely flavours, e.g the Kubali nan was lightly sweetened with freshly chopped unskinned almonds. I would also recommend the Nepalese beer which complemented the dishes well. The whole cost around ¥4000 for 2, good value for what we got. The surroundings are basic but we left feeling very pleased with our &#39;discovery&#39;.

This is not a restaurant, it&#39;s a small dingy bar which serves food at four or five tables. There is a kitchen and a barman to serve customers. The night we were there their were five customers - myself and my wife and three young women. The barman took our order and clearly disliked us from the start! arguing about my choice of draft rather than bottled beer. Then after a short wait the food arrived in no particular order: first a main, then an entree, then another main and the rice and the second entree... Worst of all we had to eat off tiny - almost saucer-sized plates, and to make his point, the rice was served spread out on a normal size dinner plate! The menu offered standard Indian/Pakistani food and was generally OK, except for the naan which was large, tasteless and undercooked. Quite a memorable meal, for all the wrong reasons!
