My experience at De Walrus was that its a good cosy bar, a good size and the night we went some decent live music. But the acoustics are dreadful. I found myself waking the next day with a very sore throat. You have to almost shout even if you are trying to talk to someone on the other side of your table. We also had one not massively welcoming waitress but hey, everyone has their bad days, and the other waitress was very nice... we tried to catch her eye if we wanted anything. I wouldn\t say my night out here was amazing but its ok.
