I have used this wonderful place for 5 or so years, on every trip to Amsterdam. What a perfect antidote to the generic, globalised cafe chain, with superb food, prepared to order, and a charming host. Don\t be too shy to enter this oasis: whilst it may feel too intimate with its home-style atmosphere, it\s one of the most relaxing ways to take a late breakfast or lunch. Scrambled eggs, superb bacon and a side of toast...a breakfast that feels clean and healthy (despite the rich double cream eggs!)
