No self-respecting pub in the world rates better than average. While the beer should be cold, the food good, and the staff professional to really excel in any of those areas departs from the realm of what a pub is. A public house. Cooper\s like any decent pub has a variety of beer on tap and it\s served cold. Do they frost their mugs? No this is Europe we\re all excited they refrigerate their beer. Is the food great or even remarkable no? It was prepared and served in a thoughtful manner and came out in a reasonable time. Again it\s a pub a place to sit down and enjoy a beer and loud conversation without fear of offending those present. If the food was amazing it would be a restaurant with a bar. It\s not, it is a pub. So you can come here catch the game or a race and enjoy yourself. The place isn\t huge so your weekend football club may not all have a seat. The staff has the appropriate level of professionalism for a pub and are generally good folks. If you need a beer in an unassuming establishment give Cooper\s a shot.
