A group including children dined in this lovely building dating back to 1455.The building was very well decorated for Christmas and looked splendid as we approached. There are a number of sections for dining and as we had requested we were accomodated in a lovely room which seems to be more a coffee/drinking room but it was ideal for us with children,even though they were well behaved. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way for the children providing colouring books . Menu choice was very good. our starters included salads and snails . I decided on horse steak and was pleasantly surprised to be given a hot stone on my placemat where I cooked my own meal to the style I wished. excellent. Children were highly amused when waitress placed a dribbler around my neck in case of spillage. All others were happy with their choice. Had a lovely chilean red . A whiskey ended the night pleasantly. Like all good restaurants in Switzerland be prepared for an expensive meal esp if you come from a not so expensive country.
