We went for dinner here after arriving in Geneva and dropping our luggage at the hotel. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the world go by whilst enjoying our starters. The staff were attentive and polite, order was taken promptly and champagne was poured! The menu had a nice selection, as did the wine list. Starter, main, and dessert were very well presented and taste was on par with presentation. At the end of our weekend stay we both agreed that it was the best restaurant in the old town. Perfectly situated to watch the world go by in a part of town with plenty of character.

The Pied de Cochon is a long time favourite that I first discovered when my dad took me there as a teenager. Many years have passed and I am now taking my son there - and it is still a very good choice for some fine local dish, either the pied de cochon (of course) or a fish from the sea. While the menu still has the good classics, there are now also some slightly more modern dishes. The atmosphere is lovely inside (traditional old town restaurant) and the terrace is really a lovely place to enjoy a summer evening in Geneva.

Had a meal there with two good friends. Initially mistook it as a branch of the one in Montreal. But glad that we chose this. Good honest food, immense portions and a casual atmosphere. Had a great time there. Never had sauerkraut this good before.
