I had lunch here with a colleague who is temporarily posted to our Milan offices. It is in the centre, halfway between the Duomo and the Sforza Castle. This bistro becomes very busy at lunchtime. Even when we arrived after 14:00 CET it was full. I had a risotto with purple carrot and Gorgonzola (€ 12) and my colleague had a tuna salad (€ 12). The risotto was purple except for the white circles of Gorgonzola. It tasted as good as it looked: excellent. The portion was good. I had a 25 cl. can of Coke Zero and my colleague had a small bottle of water and a coffee. All of this amounted to just under € 30. When you have finished your meal, you pick up the copy of your order and pay at the till. If you arrive before 2 o’clock, you might find yourself in a queue to be seated and then one to pay for your meal. Notwithstanding this, I can recommend this place, especially for a late lunch when hungry from walking around the monumental centre or shopping at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II that is less than 10 minutes on foot from this place.

Tried this place for a mid afternoon cappuccino and cake. Average food. The price is not high for the position, the service is slow but polite. Relaxed, informal atmosphere. The only thing I really didn\t like was the severe smell on my clothes when I left, even though the place looks airy and you can\t feel the smell when you\re inside.
