Food was amazing, so fresh! Menu changes daily so you\re sure to get a great meal. It was busy when we got there and as you can\t book in advance, we had to wait about half an hour for a table (nipped to a bar on the corner, great cocktails!). Worth it! It was recommended to us by a person who eats there every year when he\s in Milan for the Salone del Mobile. I had risotto with octopus (delicious!) and some deep water fish served in a brass dish, yummy! We shared a lot of different sides between the 4 of us. Tables are small and it\s quite crowded but food made up for it. Great service too! Lovely Italian couple own it, he\s the chief, she\s the main waitress. Only bad thing was the toilet... First, we had to wait 10 mins for the lady to take us there (it was busy), then she took us to a courtyard next to the restaurant and showed the toilet. It was a hole in the floor type toilet, very dirty too if that wasn\t bad enough. A guy who went with me was fine using it, but as a girl I needed a bit more than that... Still 5 stars though, cause you have to try the food!

The cooking here is \like mother made\ genuine, fresh and based on seasonal and homegrown produce. Far better, healthier food than you get in top restaurants and hotels. Arturo is the chef and his wife Maria looks after the front, and keeps and an eye on everyone. BUT there is no proper toilet/WC. You get a key and go round the back into a courtyard. There you find a Turkish stand-up toilet of the kind they used a hundred years ago. I like antiquities, but not for bathrooms! This is a disaster for ladies wearing jeans and trousers. If you decide to visit this place make sure you visit a bathroom in advance!
