We\ve been visiting Berlin for Silvester (New Year) for the last 5 years and for four of them have been staying close to this very pleasant little restaurant which we came across when having a bit of a stroll one evening. We usually prefer to eat local cuisine when travelling but liked the look of Bocca del Buon Gusto so gave it a try. We were pleased that we did and we\ve been back each year since, usually on the 2nd January. The ambience is delightful. The music is quiet and we\ve never come across any noisy customers. A good proportion of the clientele are couples but there are also families and small groups (it\s a small place so not suited to large and rowdy parties). The food is quite excellent. They do pastas and pizzas as well as a variety of meat and fish dishes but we are usually drawn to the specials board. Last week we ordered a stew of wild deer with farfalle pasta and a dish of tagliolini with grated (at the table) black truffle and with starters and a shared pudding (crème brulee, again from the specials board) plus a decent Nero d\Avolo and some San Pellegrino we thought we\d been very well looked after. The staff are friendly but not over-bearing. They seem to get a lot of regulars or repeat business because they seem to know a lot of customer by name. I hope that we will be back in Berlin for the next turn of the year, If we do, Bocca de Buon Gusto will be on our list,

This seemed busy whenever we passed so had our last supper here. Didn\t regret it - very cosy, good service and food (Veggie cannelloni and saltimbocca) excellent as was the house red.
