Great spot to see the market and listen to busking musicians. Meals were around 18 euros. Antipasto plate was well done to share before our main courses. Looked touristic but seemed to attract locals as well. We had spaghetti, calamari salad, salmon cardinal and beef entrecôte. All were good. They had the football on a big screen appealing to two England supporters in our group. We would go here again.

The Hackescher Markt area is rich in restaurants, and close to the Alexanderplatz, where I was staying. I visited the Ossena, and had the Pizza Picante, and a couple of beers. The Pizza was fine, and quite big, as well. I enjoyed it, and also had a nice time watching the droves of people always on the move in this area of Berlin. The service was OK, but a bit off hand, the way it often is in Italian restaurants (?) I have no reason to dissuade anybody from visiting this restaurant, but it is an average establishment judging from what I saw.
