Our second visit to this little place on a little side street. Creative small plates plenty big enough to share, friendly and good service. No reservations so go later rather than earlier. Fun atmosphere, fun servers, fun customers. How could one not have a good time.

This restaurant is in Pigalle, a neighbourhood with a raunchy reputation (because of the plethora of sex shops around) but an up-and-coming attitude. It\s close to Moulin Rouge, but far enough away that there aren\t many loud tourists wandering around. The vibe is decidedly bobo/hipster with exposed brick, mason jars and farmhouse trinkets. They boast a good selection of wines – as is expected when dining in France – including some organic options. The menu is divided into four sections: "tartines" (small open-faced toasted sandwich), vegetables, fish, and meat. The dishes are small and it is recommended to choose two (or three or four!) to enjoy. My dinner date and I ordered 5 plates to share between the two of us. Everything was artfully made and delicious. I\d recommend visiting this "buvette" for both the atmosphere and the food.
