This place was great. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and only $9 euro for breakfast, coffee, and juice. Dinner was also very good. The steak was amazing. Great local vibe and family owned and ran. I loved it. Go there.

This is a charming, family-run cafe, known and trusted by the locals for good food; their midi dishes for the day were Auvergne recipes typical to bistros and cafes in Paris. Very nice, hearty food for those damp, cold Paris days. The other half of the menu consisted of burgers and frites, salads and soups. We liked the feel immediately when we entered. The menu board and steady traffic had caught our eye as we looked for lunch before our rendezvous. The barman and waitress were friendly and the service swift; we ordered Charolais steaks and frites from the menu. The midi was saucisse and puree, and almost everybody else was feasting on steaming plates of the midi. Our wine was \recommended\ and went very well with our meal; a Cahors, I believe. Two meals with wine came to 39 euros. I also had an excellent coffee at the bar while I waited for medame.
