My family and I wanted to dine away from the touristy areas, and stumbled across La Gazelle quite by chance. The street is quiet and facade humble, while the interior is West Africa circa 1985. The patrons are primarily West Africans, which we took to be a good sign. While the service was not world class, the wait staff were friendly enough and efficient. The food was abundant in terms of portion size, and was well prepared. The chili paste on the homemade bread is not to be missed, while the deviled prawns are also exceptional.
