The service here is really good, even when it is busy with local patrons heading off to work or taking a break. We did not order food here, but it seemed that most people were enjoying what they ordered. Most customers, as typical with Parisians stand at the counter and sip their espressos. Those who are not on a schedule take a table inside or outside at one of the half dozen small tables. You go to the bar (yes they also have liquor) and place your order, go sit down and miraculously the server finds you wherever you are. You are trusted to go to the bar to pay. This place was just a half block from our hotel, so it was very convenient for us.
