This place is something out of the ordinary. The food is good, but what you remember best is the total dedication of the waiters. These guys RUN among the tables! They\re not laid back, with a snotty parisian attitude. Instead, they are really trying to make sure that you get the food and drinks you ordered as quickly as possible. And with great smiles on their faces too!

When we used to visit Paris years ago we would arrive on a Sunday and go straight to the Jardin de Tuileries for rose wine and a Croque Monsiuer. So on this trip we made a special effort to have lunch there. The location is still lovely and lovely to relax in the garden but the cafe was just average. Service lacked friendliness and the food was just ok. It was expensive to for what it was. Next time I would eat somewhere else and just return there for a carafe of wine and just relax
