This is a small local restaurant which gets very busy. Food mostly good but rib of beef excellent. Service was also very good. The restaurant was rather stuffy and can get overly hot.

So we visited L\ami Pierre on a busy Friday evening. We went after a read an article in a newspaper about how the restaurant had helped people on the night of the dreadful attacks and so I wanted to pay back some of the owners kindness. First impressions were great. The front bar was very buzzy. We were quickly seated. The one waitress was superb throughout - one of those brilliant waitresses who had eyes in the back of the head. We had 2 different wines,both of which were delicious. The main problem is that the food was truly awful. I\m so sorry to say that but it was. We happened to be seated by the kitchen and so could watch the minimal effort that was made. In stark contrast to the professional, loving front of house staff, the chef looked completely bored almost begrudging making any effort. The majority of the food was heated up in the microwave. The result was tasteless, bland food, lacking in seasoning. Such a shame. I have the good fortune to spend 15 days a year in Paris and lived there at one stage for 18 months and this was in my top 3 WORST ever meals. Thank you to the Patron and waitress but please, get a new Chef.......you know one who ACTUALLY cooks.
