Very convenient for the Marmottan- Monet museum, opposite La Muette Metro station, this is a busy local café. Décor is traditional, and the clientele when we stopped for lunch seemed mostly local. Our waiter was rushed off his feet but still managed to be helpful and pleasant. We had onion soup gratinee, which was perfectly OK but not as good as others we\ve had (on a mission to sample as many as possible!). The onions even seemed as if they might have been dried. The bread, too, was sliced so had less substance than the usual baguette rounds supporting the cheese (though the cheese was good). This was a welcome stop between museums, and clearly popular with locals.
