We just stopped for drinking tea.service was quick and friendly.Although it was very cold day for end of april ,the place was warm with heaters.

We were on a walk to the Luxembourg Gardens and stopped here for coffee. This is a nicely appointed brasserie and notably frequented by well dressed clientele. I suspect many patrons are professors and or students from the nearby Institute. Even though we truly enjoyed our espresso and cappucino the prices here are higher than average, even for Paris standards. The barista was not friendly and a bit snobbish. What made us leave earlier than we wanted to, was the annoying screeches of the myna bird in a cage who sounded off loudly every 2 minutes or so.
