Les Caves de Reuilly is a paradise in a sea of places with amazing food and wine. The shop is very intimate at first but then as you read the board with food specials look over the tiny producers of wine and chat with the staff you see this place is seemingly overflowing with delights. I wish we had something similar in New York but alas this is Paris, supposedly the trend setter in all things food an wine. At Les Caves de Reuilly you can see why Parisian cool is something we all wish to obtain. Something like a modest rillette is transformed and seems to taste better here. The St. Jacques(scallop) rillette should not be missed and for someone visiting Paris I would suggest snagging a few to go. I wish I did the next day. Not only is there tons of small producers of natural and organic wines there is an entire selection of artfully crafted beers. It appears the French have dug their hand in brewing and though you didn\t think you\d be drinking beer in Paris, you really should. I am already planning on returning as soon as possible. Thank you Les Caves de Reuilly for an amazing time and some great wines!
