My hotel recommended this restaurant, and I bless them for it! It was so good the first night I ate there, with a friend visiting, as I was, from Israel, that I returned the next night also, this time with a friend from LA. The first night, I arrived at 8:00pm and was famished. I scarfed down the delicious but tiny portions of the 5 course menu I\d ordered (stressing no shellfish or pork products for myself), and then ended with 6 pieces of handmade sushi, though they seemed more like sashimi to me. Then I was full. The second night, we each sated our hunger with 6 pieces of sushi, BEFORE starting our 6 course menus. Much better, because we could enjoy each perfectly made and presented course aesthetically as well as gastronomically. And since I do not eat pork or shellfish, but my guest each night would, we in effect got different meals. And each person was well satisfied with the delicious, superbly presented food. This restaurant is NOT cheap, but well worth the cost in my opinion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We were looking for a place to have lunch, and decided to give this small but elegant restaurant a try. It was a nice surprise, as we really enjoyed our meal. The miso soup was clean, deeply flavored, simply perfect, as were the main courses we ordered: bento, tempura, tataki beef and a raw egg dish our friend ordered; he had been to Japan and said it was authentic and terrific. All the ingredients were of quality, expertly prepared end tasteful. Bill was 93 euros for three mains, teas, one sake e one dessert.
