The happy hour prices are decent and the wifi works, so I can recommend the Auld Alliance for a quick break if you\re in the 4th and need to relax.

After a long afternoon of walking, I told my friends I\d wait in the area for them as they had "one more" place to see. While standing on the corner I noticed this Pubs sign. Walked in, sat down at the bar and was pleasantly greeted by staff. My French is terrible, however their English is very good ;) They made me feel welcome instead of an inconvenience if you know what I mean. Plenty of drinks to choose from and the place is clean. Flat screens for those who wish to watch the sports, tables and bar stools and a pool table ( for those who fancy a game) with seating outside when weather permits. Bathrooms were also rather neat and clean. Only down side is I didn\t know they served food until my friends and I were leaving. Then again, I didn\t ask ;) Very nice break from the world should you find yourself in that area. I\d taxi it there next time in Paris for sure.
