My wife and I had just completed an exhausting tour of Notre Dame. This sidewalk cafe is just across the street and we were starved. It has the appearance, located as it is nestled in sidewalk shops, of a tourist trap. We stopped anyway, we were desperate. Were we ever surprised! .. Our very helpful server spoke excellent English and tolerated our broken French well. The drinks were very good and not at all overpriced compared to our other Paris experiences. They had my Smirnoff vodka. I had one of the best omelets and salads of the trip and my wife had an outstanding Banana Split. Coffee was good too. We walked up the street a bit and shared a meringue for dessert. One of our better meals in Paris.

Outstanding - the highlight of Paris for me. Charlie - our guide - was charming, extremely well informed, and easy to hear over headset so we could hear commentary at all times, even when separated from dawdling. Highly recommend a tour of Notre Dame - while the cathedral and architecture is beautiful, there would be no way to appreciate the rich history, or notice the details (such as fire damage, original vs restored stained glass, the story behind the crown of thorns relic, etc) and you would just walk in and out. Tower climb - be prepared for a workout!
