Returned to Au P\tit Zinc for dinner and was not disappointed. In fact other members of Eric\s loyal clientele from Café Varenne were in evidence, showing people are prepared to travel from the 7eme when as here, the experience is worth it. The food is excellent and served with flair. This is very much a family and local place and is very busy. It is not large. If you don\t book you will in all likelihood be turned away. This is a bistro of a type fast disappearing from Paris which is to the city\s loss. Thoroughly recommended for a straightforward and authentic meal.

We were looking for a neighborhood restaurant to have a nice lunch on a very rainy afternoon. We discovered this restaurant on TA and decided to give it a try. It is a small family restaurant where the owner takes your order and makes sure that everything is to your liking. He does not speak a lot of English but we managed to understand each other and had a fabulous lunch in the very cozy bistrot, We had the Divers Solide and Poulet Roti, both of which we would recommend. The wine list is more than adequate and the prices very good. If you are looking for a quality, Parisian neighborhood experience, this is a good place to start.
