It is quite hard to find a good bistro in this area of Paris. Simone is a new spot run by two young Parisian guys; they have a wine bar next door that serves cheese and cold cuts as well (if you are looking for a bootle of wine past 10pm in Paris, this is the place to go to). The bistro is absolutely lovely with an open kitchen; small and cosy. The man running the service is friendly and attentive. The food is really (as in really) fresh and tasty. I had angus beef which was melting in the mouth. The dessert (strawberries and chocolate) was to die for. We had a bit of cheese too, which was delicious. Two glasses of sangria and a lovely bottle of wine. We had a fantastic evening with two glasses of calvados on the house. Thank you so much, we look forward to coming back very soon.
