This was the first cafe I visited in Paris after my arrival at the hotel. The pace is quick, and it is typical European style... order coffee, stand, drink. But the coffee was excellent, and so was the service. Once they learned I was American, the hostess went out of her way to speak English with me... mostly to practice I think, but she was very gracious.
