I visited in the evening with my wife. We were going out and a tad overdressed, so, just a tip, don\t pop in here dressed up to the nines or there may be laughter! The host speaks English and is welcoming but not overbearing. Inside it is simple and uninspiringly modest. No alcohol is served here, so, something to note for other Muslims or non-muslims to note. The meat is also halal. They l do take out: pick a little of what you like, etc and off you go. The food is plentiful (compared to most Paris eateries) and the price is not too bad. Again, consider where you are. Paris is expensive, especially at the moment with the Euro being weak. If this was an eateries on Edgeware Road then it would be considered average; very average, but here in Paris food is done differently. This is not a plush brasserie remember. Clearly it is an income as source for the family and not a swanky resto. We paid 28 Euros and had two courses. In addition, we were plied with free tea and fruit and a sweet. Not bad for Paris. It was quiet as it was a mid-week night, and so the owners were probably happy to ply such a well-dressed couple to encourage others to enter. The food is not exceptional but pleasant. If you have never tried Lebanese then its a fine place to start. As your palate develops you may think otherwise, but it would be unfair to say it was restaurant standard. Most food is already prepared in that "traiteur" style that implies modest Parisien eating. All in all a pleasant experience and well worth it if you\re passing and in a budget. I\m a big eater but was more or less satisfied with the portions: not something I have said about Paris before! Go. Its worth it.
