We live in New Westminster and, well, the culinary standards just don\t tend to higher-end Italian. We\e finally found Cotto. I\ve only withheld the fifth star because I like to go to a place twice if I can before I do that - and we certainly will go here again. Easy access, its own parking. Room is not too crowded, with an odd mix of decor. Classy glassware on the tables, but ice-cream parlour seats. Interesting light fixtures in main room and on covered patio, but several TVs making the place look like a sports bar. I had a local beer (Dageraad), and we split an excellent salad. Then a pizza each - one quattro formaggio and one funghi with added soppressata. Their VPN Neapolitan certification is deserved - thin crusts just barely burned at one point, with a few delicious blisters of browned cheese. No room for dessert! Prices were fair for both food and drink, and service was first-class: helpful and friendly, without the slightest hint of pretention. We felt more like guests than customers. We\ll go again.
