The Chop Steakhouse & Bar is a traditional steak house with a bit of a modern decor. It is dark and the tables and booths are reasonably private. They have all the usual red meat selections but my friend and I each had fish. Even though Winnipeg is in the middle of the continent, we both ordered ocean fish. I had salmon. It came with vegetables and your choice of potatoes or rice. The fish was fresh and the sauce was tasty. All in all it was a pretty good meal. The waiter was attentive and the good came quickly. If you are ever staying get near the airport in Winnipeg, give the Chop Steakhouse & Bar a try.
