Could have been Better! I appreciate the venue, it is lovely & sound is great BUT they pack too many in, and this brings the scumbags out into the light! It seems that it is ok to just come from the back of the venue and step in front of people who have been at the front waiting from quite early, completely blocking their view, yes the venue has a flat floor, this does not help, but the lack of care really bugs me!

I love this venue, it has an old school vibe, like what old theatres used to be... I\ve seen quite a few bands here, highlights being the Cat Empire (a few times) and The Dandy Warhols. I prefer gigs without seating, so it\s just a big dance floor. The only thing I don\t like is when people bring beer bottles onto the dance floor and then drop them when they\re done, it\s a bit of a hazard, particularly when you\re jumping up and down in the mosh (as in, if you land on a bottle, you could seriously injure yourself). I saw a sign "no drinks on dance floor", but nobody was checking that. Otherwise, my favourite venue in Brisbane!
