Well there are a few good steakhouses in Brisbane, there is the Brekky Creek and the Norman Hotel to mention a couple. The outback is a real cosy place and if you put on a cowboy hat and sit at the bar you could swear you were in a western movie...well sort of. Great steaks at about $35 and all the trimmings. There was a great steakhouse prior to the Outback but recall the name. Some of you may remember, there were peanuts on the table and you could actually peel and throw on the floor. It was amazing to walk in...anyway for health reasons that stopped. The service is good and the atmosphere busy. Well worth a vist.

Had to review again. This is our go to steak house on the northside of Brisbane. Not just steak, but pasta, chicken, seafood, there is a good variety. We think the food portions are generous and well priced. This place is not cheap, but it is worth it for what you get. The staff are always friendly, sometimes rushed but that\s what busy places are like; the bar is cool, well stocked and the beer is cold. The decor is great, we prefer a booth but again it isnt always available. You can not book tables, again, fair enough.
