We really enjoyed this restaurant. We got away from the hotel and enjoyed the local neighborhood. We were starving and started looking for a good place to eat. I had read in books about visiting Venice to look for local stand up bars with local sandwiches. I am so glad I read that book. It was fantastic food. Great prices. Wonderful service. We had to stand up to eat but it was worth it. You can buy a half sandwich or a whole. You can get different kinds of sandwiches in case you want to try several different ones. They have healthy chips for a different taste. They have Coke products which made me very happy. They also have a full bar for alcoholic drinks. Fun experience. I would highly recommend this nice place. It is right on the canal and you can watch all the gondolas go by. Even the gondola guys eat there. That is always a good sign.

Not expensive and good food. Remember the combine deals they have. The coffee is local therefore strong.
