I want to be clear that we didn\t stay at the hotel but stopped into the garden bar area to cool off on a hot day. The courtyard, open air patio bar is nice, cool and comfortable. We ordered a couple of spritz\s and because they were out of what we ordered, we took the recommendation of the waiter and ordered the mixed fried appetizer. I was kind of looking forward to trying it because I had read that fritti was a great typical Venetian snack. We were astoundingly disappointed. It came with four processed, shaped and pressed out chicken nuggets, four processed fried mashed potato sticks and four processed fried olives. It felt like the Disneyland version of "Venetian Fritti Snack". The service was a bit slow and "cool". It felt more like a disappointing mistake than a refreshing break.
