On a short trip to Venice we found Mea Libera Tutti mentioned on some blogs in search of gluten free pizza. I\m very happy we went there. Michele, the shop owner doesn\t only have a lot of good gluten free products, she also knows some lovely stories about where the products come from. She offered to advice us on some gluten free restaurants and even wrote it down on our map! Walking out with a whole basket full of cookies and handmade pasta I felt confident I could have a yummy gluten free pizza on this trip and I did! I also had lasagna, cake and ice cream at places she recommended and it was even better than she said. It made the whole trip to Venice a lot better, not having to worry about finding a place suitable to eat gluten free!

We visited having been given a review by another person. This shop has a massive range of gluten free items, and whilst not the cheapest (but what gluten free shop is), it\s range is unbelievable. It just goes to show how small a range there is available in the UK, compared to what was in this shop. The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful and he took time to show us round his shop and where different things were. It was even more interesting to find out that he ships products to the UK on a weekly basis, and was more than happy to email me a price list to choose from the full range that they do.
